Hey little princess, now you are 3! I thought we’d spend the day together, but you wanted to go to nursery. I thought it’d be like 12 years before you made your own birthday plans, I guess I was wrong.
“Don’t you want to stay home with mummy and daddy today?”
“No, I want to see my friends.”
(Fair enough)
I’m smiling because at such a young age you are already so independent. You are honest, loving and strong. I’m missing you today. I can’t wait to pick you up from nursery so that we can have some birthday fun together. I hope you are having the best time with your friends.
Stay as you are. You are awesome. I love everything about you. Even though you growl at me sometimes, I secretly love that too. You’re fierce, don’t lose it.
I wonder what phases we’ll go through in the next year. Whether good or bad, I cant wait to go through them with you. You told me this morning that you are now “a big girl”. It’s true.
No longer a baby, but always my baby. Happy Birthday my angel. Now you are 3. x
Love it that your daughter is making career choices already – I want to go to nursery mummy! That’s cool. Ah three year olds are brilliant. Big Munch is three going on thirty…. #fortheloveofBLOG

Lovely post! My daughter isn’t 2 yet but I can imagine her wanting to go to nursery with her friends over being with Mummy and Daddy too. Their independence is both cute and exhausting in equal measure 🙂 I hope you had a lots of fun after nursery celebrating the big 3!! #KCACOLS

Ah such a nice post, and it’s lovely that your daughter chose to go to nursery. At the same time it’s bittersweet that you couldn’t spend the day together. I hope that you both had a lovely day, and Happy Birthday. Thanks for linking up at #fortheloveofBLOG. Claire x
